Our human layers are powered by stories. Narratives crafted as we careen through reality navigating the precarious act of living in late stage capitalism. And right now, in late 2026, those narratives are twisting into something we’re all realizing, in real time and without a shared foundation, is as
Here’s a dirty little game that colonizers have mastered – indoctrinating citizens to internalize the systemic violence baked into capitalism. An entire self-help and productivity industry exists to support this transfer of emotional labor onto the laborer themselves. It’s subtle and flies unnoticed for years or a lifetime
We often wonder how wealth morphs into cycles of unchecked power, abuse, trafficking and obscene violence. How do people like Epstein and his known associates continue to grift along without consequences while their trail of victims, crimes and whistleblowers are silenced and buried? How do well intentioned businesses, communities and
“When you’re falling– dive.” J. Campbell I’m a non-dual tantrika, non-dual shaiva tantra to be exact. I chose to walk the Left Hand Path decades before I possessed the language to understand what those fancy Sanskrit words actually mean. The unorthodox is my happy place and

Last week I decided to load up my Kindle on feminist books written by powerful women and a few prolific BIPOC artists. Unwell Women. Mediocre. Nice White Woman, In Defense of Witches, Communion. All anchors of brilliance I start my mornings with now. As I navigate this completely foreign world
Grief and Gratitude Maybe those two words are the lesson for everything right now. Everything in my life and everything in yours. Grief that I’m shut out of the rooms and conversations I used to move through freely, gratitude that others with empathy still have access. Grief that my
What happens when our nervous systems reject the structure we’re forced to live within during late stage capitalism? Yesterday was just a Wednesday. Nothing special, nothing abnormal. Just a hump day, 48 hours after my first PT session in 5 weeks. I woke up feeling mostly my self. Some soreness and aches in the regular places my body stores and deploys the pain signals to remind me that
My current somatic journey is disrupting most aspects of my life at this moment. One massive disruption for this word nerd is kind of obvious given that my entire world revolves around communicating narratives. Language is now both a barrier and a trigger. I lack access to adequate language for
As I barrel through another year on this wild ass planet, I have to look back at the past year(s) and then look forward to the path I'm traveling down. And at my age, at the just-past-midway point towards a century, I hold a large
Here's an excerpt from my creative writing project (AI free zone), A Somatic Unraveling: Field Notes From the Cremation Grounds. Where's my floor? Yesterday was my last session for round 2 of PT (June 18, 2026). And well, the whole thing feels devastating. As if someone
